Supported Independent Living is a type of NDIS support that helps you with daily life.
You can get assistance with everyday tasks from the NDIS through supported independent living (SIL).
Getting help with daily activities like dressing and taking a shower, cooking, grocery shopping, managing and administering prescriptions, keeping your house safe and clean, or traveling to and from appointments are just a few examples of personal care duties. SIL providers can help you learn a multitude of skills so that you can live as independently as possible. To find out more about our open SIL roles, kindly get in touch with us.
We assist people with everyday duties and/or supervise them to help them learn the necessary skills to live as independently as possible. These are home-based supports that are given to NDIS participants, who may live with others or alone. Our offerings consist of:
- 24/7 support with an individualised approach
- Medication management and administration
- Help with personal care activities provided with dignity, compassion and respect
- Help building daily living skills with tasks such as preparing meals, cooking and cleaning
- Social skills development through activities
- Support with supervision, personal safety and security
- Support for medical appointments, including transportation
- Community access support (e.g. visiting families, attending hydrotherapy sessions)
- Assistance with behaviour support plans
- Help with household tasks
We take a completely client-focused approach to SIL. To help you reach your objectives and lead the lifestyle you desire, we listen to you, get to know you, and collaborate with you. We create warm, welcoming communities where everyone is respected, appreciated, and free to choose their supports and way of life.
